Upcoming Creation
To celebrate its 45th anniversary, the Orchestre National d’Auvergne Rhône-Alpes commissioned a work to open their concert program on September 25 and 26 at the Opéra-Théâtre de Clermont-Ferrand and on September 27, 2026 at the Opéra de Vichy.

“In this piece, I began with a recording of birdsong that I transcribed onto paper and gradually developed into a melody that becomes a vibrant dance, infusing the entire orchestra.
This piece reflects on the origins of our singing, which stem from our imitation of the primitive songs of birds, ultimately giving rise to the melody that lies at the heart of our lives.
“This work is intended as a testament to our shared heritage from nature. Through our memories and our roots, we are intimately connected to it. “

Selected for the finals of the Unanimes Composition Competition organized by the AFO —creation of a symphonic work to be premiered on October 1, 2026, in Paris bythe Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra.

This encounter, which inspires wonder at the embodiment and depth of being, prompts us to question our relationship to living things, to nature, and to otherness. “

Commission for a vocal piece with mezzo-soprano voice, grand choir, percussion, piano and celesta, written on poems by Louise Ackerman – with the great choir of Radio France, Emmanuel Jacquet on percussions and Caroline Cren on keyboards.
Commissioned by Radio France—world premiere—recording on October 31, 2026—Invitation to the program “Création Mondiale” on France Musique, hosted by Anne Montaron.

“This play is based on excerpts from works by the French poet Louise Ackermann.
Here, I have attempted to recreate a consultation of the oracle at the Temple of Delphi in 400 B.C.: the entrance to the temple, the encounter with the Pythia—played by the soloist—the priests’ interpretation of her words, and the divine message—performed by the full chorus—leading us through a series of four riddles to be solved.
“At the heart of this celebration, the ritual is accompanied by percussion and keyboards, sweeping us away into the sibyl’s visionary and metaphysical trance.”

Creation of a lyric poem for voice and orchestra
based on an anonymous Tamil text from the 19th century, to be premiered by the CRR de Créteil orchestra conducted by Florent Didier on December 17, 2025 in the CRR de Créteil auditorium.

“Written from an anonymous Tamil text of the nineteenth century, ‘All is one’ is a teaching of Advaita-Vedânta inviting the awareness of our Unity. The solo voice embodying Wisdom and the orchestra echoing the world as a backdrop.

“Fin’amor, from its translation amour pur et fin comme de l’or (pure, fine love as fine as gold), was a love language practiced in epistolary form. The lovers wrote poems and songs to each other, sometimes without ever having met.
This platonic, fantasized, disembodied love, rooted in the imaginary, is the inspiration for a piece I wanted to build on the pulsation of a heartbeat. The cello ostinato builds tension, plunging us into the painful expectation of this woman driven by her emotions, exasperated by her lover’s passivity.”

“Autre terre” is inspired by a dream, a lost land, imagined, found again then torn away. Dream of an interior space that opens onto other unsuspected places, a space to oneself sometimes free, sometimes threatened. An inner territory in search of freedom.

“In this room, I imagined the emergence of primordial matter at the origin of star formation and all forms of life. Born from chaos, cell after cell, from breath to matter, from rhythm to vibration, “Prima Materia” goes through various metamorphoses where the material moves in different states and sound textures. In this organization, I imagined the phases of this metamorphosis, from rhythmic breathing to singing, from pulsation to cry.”

“The body is the soul’s workshop, where the mind comes to practice its scales.” Built from fragments of texts by the mystic Hildegard von Bingen, the piece “Vision,” composed by Sophie Leleu, invites the listener to delve into their inner self, imagining the states experienced and traversed by the saint during her visions.”
