“All is one”
Creation of a lyric poem for voice and orchestra
based on an anonymous Tamil text from the 19th century, to be premiered by the CRR de Créteil orchestra conducted by Florent Didier on December 17, 2025 in the CRR de Créteil auditorium.

“Written from an anonymous Tamil text of the nineteenth century, ‘All is one’ is a teaching of Advaita-Vedânta inviting the awareness of our Unity. The solo voice embodying Wisdom and the orchestra echoing the world as a backdrop.

“Autre terre” is inspired by a dream, a lost land, imagined, found again then torn away. Dream of an interior space that opens onto other unsuspected places, a space to oneself sometimes free, sometimes threatened. An inner territory in search of freedom.

“In this room, I imagined the emergence of primordial matter at the origin of star formation and all forms of life. Born from chaos, cell after cell, from breath to matter, from rhythm to vibration, “Prima Materia” goes through various metamorphoses where the material moves in different states and sound textures. In this organization, I imagined the phases of this metamorphosis, from rhythmic breathing to singing, from pulsation to cry.”

«The body is the workshop of the soul where the spirit comes to do its scales.» Built from fragments of texts by the mystic Hildegard Von Bingen, the piece «Vision» composed by Sophie Leleu invites a dive into oneself, imagining the states experienced and crossed by the saint during her visions.
