Sophie will do an Erasmus exchange in 2004 at <strong>the Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste in Berlin<\/strong> in A.Eggers&#8217; class. On her return to Paris, Sophie joined U. Reineman&#8217;s Perfectionnement class on Lied interpretation. Her knowledge of the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and contemporary repertoires stems from her experience, talent and open-mindedness.<\/strong>  She will be heard in oratorios such as <strong>J.S.Bach&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>Cantata BWV 125<\/strong> for viola or <strong>G.Rossini&#8217;s Petite Messe Solennelle<\/strong>, as well as in the operatic repertoire, performing the roles of Orfeo in<strong>C.W.Gluck&#8217;s Orfeo ed Euridice<\/strong> in a UDK production in Berlin, and Penelope in <strong>C.Monteverdi&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>Il Ritorno d&#8217;Ulisse in Patria<\/strong> at London&#8217;s GSMD. She played Marcellina in <strong>W.A.Mozart&#8217;s Le Nozze di Figaro<\/strong> conducted by A.du Closel with the Romanian Radio Orchestra at Ch\u00e2teau de Rochambeau in 2008. In 2010, she played the title role in <strong>J.Offenbach&#8217;s La Grande Duchesse de G\u00e9rolstein<\/strong> in Paris. In spring 2015, she sang the role of Candelas in <strong>M.D.Falla&#8217;s El Amor Brujo<\/strong> with the Orchestre de Mayenne under the direction of M.Levy-Thiebault, then the following year, she played Candelas again at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Vitry sur Seine, conducted by J.G. Novales.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, she sang the roles of Jacqueline in <strong>Le M\u00e9decin malgr\u00e9<\/strong> <strong>lui by C.Gounod<\/strong> at<strong> the Op\u00e9ra de Saint-Etienne<\/strong>, directed by L.Touche and staged by A.Terrat, Carmen in <strong>Carmen by G.Bizet<\/strong> at the<strong>Saigon Opera<\/strong> in Vietnam in September 2015, directed by P.Souillot, then the title role in <strong>La P\u00e9richole by J.Offenbach<\/strong>. Then she was invited back to sing the title role of <strong>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9gonde by C.Saint-Sa\u00ebns<\/strong> at <strong>the Sa\u00efgon Opera House <\/strong>in October 2017. She then sang excerpts from Carmen with the IOSO orchestra at the Langtang festival on Reunion Island. She then returned to the role of <strong>Carmen<\/strong> in the show Carmen Flamenco with the cies Influensc\u00e8nes and Flamenco Vivo, touring various national theaters (Palais des Congr\u00e8s du Mans, Festival d&#8217;Avignon, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Thalie, Th\u00e9\u00e2tres de Saint-Lo, Liffr\u00e9, <strong>Abbaye de Sylvanes,<\/strong> etc.)&#8230;.)<br \/>In August 2023, she sang the role of Ulrica for the first time in <strong>G.Verdi&#8217;s<\/strong> opera <strong>Un Ballo in Maschera<\/strong> at the<strong>Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto<\/strong>, Italy, directed by S.Torboli, and staged by G.Ravazzi. <br \/>In March 2024, she will perform E <strong>.Chausson<\/strong> &#8216;s <strong>La chanson Perp\u00e9tuelle <\/strong>in concert with <strong>the Ars Nova ensemble<\/strong>, followed by<strong> J.Brahms<\/strong> &#8216; She created the roles of Galath\u00e9e and Berg\u00e8re in the world premiere of <strong>G.Pesson&#8217;s<\/strong> opera <strong>Pastorale<\/strong>, conducted by J.Y.Ossonce and directed by P.Sorin at the <strong>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet<\/strong> in June 2009. In 2011, she sang <strong>Berio&#8217;s Folksongs<\/strong> and <strong>Berberian&#8217;s Stripsody<\/strong> as part of the Musique Libre Festival.<br \/>She was invited to perform the solo part in <strong>Re-Walden, a<\/strong> creation by J.F.Peyret and <strong>A.Markeas,<\/strong> at <strong>EMPAC-Harvard University in New York<\/strong> in March 2012.  In April 2012, alongside J.Anderson and S.Jo, she sang the role of Nancy Tang in <strong>J.Adams&#8217;<\/strong> <strong>Nixon in China<\/strong> at the <strong>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet<\/strong>, directed by A.Briger and staged by C.Chi-zheng. Then, in July 2012, she was invited by the ensemble <strong>Le Balcon<\/strong> to perform the role of Alejandra in the world premiere of the opera<strong> L&#8217;Enfer Musical by M.Suarez-Cifuentes<\/strong>, conducted by M.Pascal. In spring 2015, she created the role of Philandre in <strong>B.Attahir&#8217;s<\/strong> opera <strong>Pastorale d&#8217;Issy<\/strong>.<br \/><strong>A member of Ensemble Links<\/strong> since its inception, directed by R.Durupt, Sophie sings in works by <strong>S.Reich (Music for 18, Drumming, Music for Mallet instruments, voices &amp; organ<\/strong>&#8230;), <strong>touring a number of national venues<\/strong>: Philharmonie de Paris, Ferme du Buisson, Maison de Musique de Nanterre, Arsenal de Metz, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de l&#8217;Archipel de Perpignan, sc\u00e8ne nationale d&#8217;Evreux-Louviers, Op\u00e9ra de Massy, Nuits sonores \u00e0 Lyon, Op\u00e9ra de Rouen, Channel in Calais, Folles Journ\u00e9es in Nantes, Wiesbaden Opera, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Lux in Valence, Filature in Mulhouse, Theater Basel, Freiburg Theater, Radio France, Lieu Unique in Nantes, etc&#8230;<br \/>In March 2023, she premiered her own work <strong>Solstice &#8211; Chant \u00e0 la lune<\/strong> at the <strong>Philharmonie de Paris<\/strong>, which commissioned her for the first time with<strong> the Multilat\u00e9rale ensemble<\/strong>. She has set up an ensemble called L&#8217;oeil ou la lune with which she performs programs of English music (J.Dowland, H.Purcell and G.F.Haendel) and early 17th-century Italian music (G. Caccini, C.Monteverdi, M.Marini, B.Strozzi, L.Rossi.Caccini, C.Monteverdi, M.Marini, B.Strozzi, L.Rossi&#8230;).<br \/>In November 2012, she sang with<strong> Ensemble Sagittarius<\/strong> conducted by M.Lapl\u00e9nie in a program of J.H.Schein, H.Sch\u00fctz and G.P.Telemann in Bordeaux. Then Sophie sings in a series of concerts a program of amorous and furious Baroque arias called M\u00e9tamorphoses with the ensemble La Fidelissima conducted by M.Maldonado at the <strong>Festival Nits d&#8217;Eus<\/strong> in August 2018. In September 2018, in duo with M.Horvat, <strong>ensemble Faenza<\/strong>, she will perform a program of 17th-century Italian songs, accompanying her singing on her harp as part of the Heritage Days at Sarlat-la-Can\u00e9da Cathedral and the Royal Abbey of Saint-Jean d&#8217;Ang\u00e9ly.
